Websites & social for Oahu food businesses

Good food.
Bad internet.
Let's fix that.

You built the reputation the hard way — one plate at a time. Pono Digital makes sure it shows up online. Websites, weekly social posts, and email, handled by someone who grew up eating here.

01 — The gap

The food isn't the problem.

Most local restaurants lose customers to worse restaurants with better websites. Here's where it breaks down.

3 wks

Since the last post

A page that goes quiet stops reaching people. Someone finds you, sees nothing recent, and assumes you might not even be open.

76%

Search on a phone

Most people check you out on their phone before driving over. A desktop site from 2017 tells them everything they need to know — and it's not good.

0

Ways to reach regulars

No email list means every slow Tuesday is a guess. The people who already love your food have no idea what's on special.

02 — What it costs

Priced like a menu.
No surprises.

Three things. Take one, take all three. Monthly work has no contract — leave whenever you want.

What was there

Flaky crusty on the outside, Jamaican spiced juicy filling on the inside.

What we wrote

The crust shatters on the first bite — thin, golden, baked just past flaky. Underneath, Jamaican-seasoned beef with enough heat to stay honest. The one first-timers come back for.

To do what is right. Not what's easy, not what's fast — what's right.

Pono Digital is run by someone born and raised on Oahu who never left. That's not a marketing line, it's the entire reason this works.

A mainland agency writes "savor the bold flavors of authentic island cuisine" and thinks they nailed it. Anybody from here reads that and knows immediately that nobody involved has eaten the food. Knowing the difference is the whole job.

05 — Questions

Straight answers.

How much does a restaurant website cost?

Between $600 and $1,200 as a one-time project, depending on how many pages you need and how much writing is involved. Most local restaurants land around $750. The site is delivered within 48 to 72 hours of payment and works properly on phones.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Monthly work is month to month. Cancel whenever you want with a week of notice. If the work isn't earning its keep you shouldn't be locked into it.

How much time does this take me?

About thirty seconds a week. Every Monday you get a text asking what's happening — a special, an event, or nothing at all. That's the whole ask. Everything else is handled, and nothing gets published without you seeing it first.

What if I don't have good photos?

We work with what's already on your Instagram and Google listing. If you want new photos, a phone camera and decent daylight covers most of it — we'll tell you exactly what to shoot and when the light in your space is best.

Which parts of Oahu do you work with?

All of it — Kaneohe, Kailua, Honolulu, Haleiwa, Waimanalo, Aiea, Kapolei, Waianae. Oahu businesses only. Staying local is the point.

Is the free week actually free?

Yes. Five Instagram posts and one email written for your restaurant, no cost and no commitment. You keep the content either way. If you like it we talk about monthly. If not, no hard feelings.

One free week.
Nothing owed.
